
Yoyogi PROGRAM:



INTL offers swim training along with a social studies enrichment program periodically during the
school year as well as the summer holidays.
Location: National Olympic Memorial Youth Center 3-1, Yoyogi Kamizono-cho, Shibuya-Ku
& the Yoyogi National Gymnasium pool 2-1-1 Jinnan, Shibuya-Ku
The study component will be at the National Olympic Memorial Youth Center while the swimming practice will be held at the Yoyogi National
Gymnasium facility near Harajuku station.
Daily Schedule: Classroom 9:30 - 11:45 / lunch 11:45 - 12:30 /
Pool session 13:00 - 2:30 pm ** Lunch is included **
The swim training is instructed by St. Mary's International School Swimming Coach David Moodie. Instruction is both focused and personalized.
Practices will emphasize stroke drill progressions and stroke development. Students begin to build endurance and improve their skills in all four
strokes. It is designed for students looking to improve their swimming, interacting as a team, increasing technical skill while gaining fitness and
developing enthusiasm for the sport.
Tokyo International School Middle School Social Studies Teacher, Mark Van Den Bossche teaches a social studies enrichment class with an
emphasis on Geography. The course will keep your child engaged, motivated and learning while having fun during the break from school.
Individual and small group work will continue to help students to practice and encourage collaborative learning.
